Beta terms of use

The rules for using Peerstack during the beta. In plain language.

Who can join

Peerstack is for people who run IT inside their own organization. To join you verify a work email and your role. Vendors, MSPs and MSSPs, resellers, consultants and recruiters can't join, and accounts found to belong to them will be closed.

One account per person. Keep your sign-in email secure.

The beta

Peerstack is free during the beta. Features will change, some may be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. We'll tell members before paid membership starts, and nobody is charged without agreeing first.

What you can't post

Your content

You own what you post. You give Peerstack permission to store it and show it to members as part of the service, including in totals and summaries. Anonymous posts and reports can't be traced to you, so we may not be able to remove them on request; posts made under your handle or name you can delete yourself.

We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.

Peer information isn't professional advice

Patch advice, known good builds, vendor scores, compliance answers and everything else here come from members and public sources. They can be incomplete or wrong. Always check the vendor's own guidance, test changes, and make your own decisions. Peerstack isn't responsible for outcomes from acting on what you read here.

No warranty, and limits on liability

The service is provided as is during the beta, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Peerstack isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability is limited to the amount you've paid for membership in the past twelve months (which is nothing during the free beta).

Ending your account

You can stop using Peerstack any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Changes

We'll update these terms as the beta changes and tell members before significant changes take effect.
